How to stop Facebook Notifications from filling your mail box

I have had this issues of Facebook Notifications bombarding my inbox anytime something happens on my Facebook account.   
 so i have found a solution and i thought it wise to share it with you today. with these following steps you will be able control what Facebook notifies you about.
                          
                             STEPS


1.login to your Facebook Account


2.click the down arrow button close to the HOME button at top right corner


3.click account settings


4.click Notifications, under the general settings at the top left corner


5. now you will see alot of options like: Facebook, Updates etc


6. click at EDIT of the Facebook option


7. Now you get another option to tick and untick ( so thats it)


You select the ones you want and deselect the ones you dont want.


8.Then click the SAVE CHANGES button.
