The different versions of Android

Its important you know the version of Android your devices uses or the device you may want to get. And the intresting thing about Android versions is that
-every version is target to a particular thing and they are usually named after a tasty treat-adds a different set of features.


ANDROID 1.5 ( Cupcake ) in April 09

Features: Gallery allows deletion of multiple photos, enhanced Android market, Faster voice search with move integration, Combined Camera with more integration,
          Combined Camera and Camcoder gallery, Search home screen via widget, Text to Specch.


ANDROID 2.0 / 2.1 ( Eclair ) Oct 09

Spruced-up interface, Animated wallpaper, New browser interface with HTML5, Microsoft Exchange, New Contact lists, Bluetooth 2.1, Enhanced Software keyboard,
 Flash and digital zoom for Camera.


ANDROID 2.2 ( Froyo ) may 10

   New homescreen widget, unified messaging , Assisted GPS, Support for micro SD card , Application side loading, Storage and access, USB tethering,
    Flash 10.1 Support, over-the-air updates.



ANDROID 2.3 ( Ginger Bread ) Dec 10

NFE ( Near field Communication), Automatic Apps shutoff- if they overload the device, Better battery management.
